Raw2k have grown since 2002 and their services have evolved to process vehicles of all types from all areas by many diverse methods, they have accomodated all requests from their suppliers. Being so flexible of course requires them to carry out a large number of processing tasks, that is where we help. We administer their online and offline systems and ensure all data exchange is processed as simply as possibly allowing all Raw2K staff to deal with the array disperate instructions they recieve every hour.

The Raw2K intranet provides all the functionality required for the staff to control the website without requiring programming intervention. Auction start, process and end are under their complete control, they create or upload vehicles for auction, decide when they will begin and how long they will run and at what price they start. They have the ability to add/remove and view customer bids to enable them to offer vehicles to second or third place bidders should the winner be unable to complete. They also control all the members, whether they can login, bid and what they can see as security is paramount they need extensive control. They also control the content of all the pages and administer the links pages.

They can also build and send to specific user types, newsletters to keep their members informed of important issues and forthcoming offers. They can also run a veriety of reports (including CarWeb to ensure correct vehicle data and history) to help them tailor their services and see how effective their stratergies are. This being an intranet also gives them the added benefit of being able to administer the website from anywhere with a connection and therefore contribute to their disaster recovery plans.



Raw2K also operate a Microsoft Access system which allows them to operate offline and store more extensive vehicle data that is not required for online vehicle auctions. The Access system stores all vehicle instructions and checks all data with CarWeb and DVLA for accuracy, no matter the source of the vehicle instruction or its format the Access system has the capability to import it, they receive instructions in XML, Excel, Email, Plain text and SQL. The Access system also sends out return data in the required format and updates the various private customer intranets.

The private customer intranets are custom websites that allow selected companies to provide instructions online, update their status and receive updates to the instructions while remaining independent from the standard instruction data but being auctioned as normal. This allows the companies to see and control only their instructions but have them auctioned as a standard vehicle. Each private company has their own version of the system and has it tailored to meet their needs which are always evolving. The Access system provides Raw2K many options to expand their customer service, store extra detail for security and run a multitude of reports that they can easily customise and despatch to their clients. We at Netspin have developed all the extra functionality required and maintain it on a daily basis and help train Raw2K staff in customising it and getting the best from it.



We also provide Raw2K with desktop VB software, a custom written image optomiser that takes their instruction images, renames them, compresses them and places them in the correct locations. We also provide another Access system for them that is used to process BluCycle salvage instructions using XML to receive and distribute instructions, this is a seperate system to all others and is designed to accept a variety of instruction types from XML inside an email, the system is simple to use and the staff once again do not need any programing knowledge. We also provide other instruction suppply intranets for salvage trade users to simplify their method of getting their vehicles on auction, the intranets replaced the use of fax and have made it easier for all concerned to process the trade instructions.
